metacity (compositing_manager)

включаю композит в gconf /apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager
колличество кадров в секунду при glxgear сокращается в 8 раз!!!
было
ivan@main ~ $ glxgears
80075 frames in 5.0 seconds = 16014.895 FPS
стало
ivan@main ~ $ glxgears
10012 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2002.329 FPS

при включенном compiz
ivan@main ~ $ glxgears
37478 frames in 5.0 seconds = 7495.512 FPS

при этом видик 9800GTX, с включенным metacity compositing_manager получаются результаты как у x1200 ati (рядом ноут стоит). Прикол в том, что на ноуте эта опция (которая включает прозрачность и тени /apps/metacity/general/compositing_manager = True) ни как не влюяет на производительность.!
