Portage 3.0 теперь в стабильной ветке.
Из нового. Убрана поддержка Python 2.7
Также, теперь благодаря пользовательскому патчу, кеширующему некоторые функции, обновлённый portage может радикально ускорить вычисление зависимостей, на 50-60%.
