Перестал работать apache [РЕШЕНО]

Добрый день!

Столкнулся со следующей проблемой при запуске apache: когда запускаю, присходит вот что:

officemanager apache2 # /etc/init.d/apache2 start
 * WARNING:  apache2 has already been started.

Как видно из приведенного фрагмента, он работает, однако web-узлы не доступны.
Если перезапустить, то получается вот что:

officemanager apache2 # /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
 * Stopping apache2 ...
httpd (no pid file) not running                                                                                         [ ok ]
 * Starting apache2 ...                                                                                                 [ ok ]

Работоспособность не восстанавливается.
В логах как-то все странно, например в /var/log/messages пусто, а в /var/log/apache2/error_log^

Я так понимаю причина в mod_unique_id, который не может найти IPv4 адрес, но я ничего не менял.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, в какую сторону копать.
